June Belvis is a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner based in Hawaii. Originally from the Philippines, she grew up in Canada, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Alberta. June has extensive experience as a surgical and cardiovascular ICU nurse, having worked at Kaiser Permanente Moanalua, Straub Medical Center, and Tripler Army Medical Center. After completing her MBA, she spent 15 years in the Cardiac Rhythm Management Division at Boston Scientific, serving as a Principal Field Clinical Representative. June later graduated from Walden University with a focus on the Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program, during which she completed clinical rotations in Internal Medicine and Gerontology at Queens Medical Center, as well as General Surgery at Pali Momi Medical Center.
Currently, she specializes in the management of pacemakers, internal cardiac defibrillators (ICDs), and Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (CRT) both in-clinic and remotely. Her extensive training in the cardiac rhythm industry has honed her technical expertise in device reprogramming and optimization.
Outside of her professional practice, June enjoys dancing hula with Ka Pa Hula Hawaii. She has also volunteered with Aloha Medical Mission for 20 years, focusing on international surgical-medical missions primarily in the Philippines and Nepal.
